Partner Emma Mann-Meginniss has been named to Venture Capital Journal’s 2023 Rising Stars list. The annual honor recognizes the world’s most promising up and coming professionals in the venture capital community who have excelled over the past year.
Mann-Meginniss is a partner in Goodwin’s Technology group. Her practice focuses on corporate and securities law, and she represents emerging growth companies in general corporate counseling, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions. She also represents venture capital funds, growth equity funds, and strategic investors in seed through growth stage transactions. Venture Capital Journal noted that Mann-Meginniss has advised multiple emerging companies and venture firms in the past year, including Due Dilly in its acquisition by Beckett, Ananki in its acquisition by Intel and Redpoint Ventures, and Unusual Ventures in its investment in Railway’s $20 million Series A financing.
In addition to her practice, Mann-Meginniss is on the hiring committee of Goodwin’s San Francisco office and is the firm’s lead relationship partner at the ASU GSV Summit. She is also actively involved with Berkeley’s Project Hire 2.0 and College for Social Innovation, an education-focused non-profit.
