Law.com International has named partner Abhishek Krishnan to its inaugural list of Private Equity Rising Stars: 10 Lawyers in Asia to Watch. In selecting the winners, Law.com International was seeking more than just technical expertise, but lawyers who had impacted the commercial landscape with their business acumen and success in fostering new client relationships.
Based in Singapore after recently relocating from Goodwin’s Hong Kong office, Krishnan is a partner in the firm’s Private Equity group. He advises a wide range of corporate and private equity clients on private equity and venture capital investments, acquisitions, exits, joint ventures and restructurings in China, India and across Southeast Asia.
Law.com International noted Krishnan’s impact on the firm’s India practice — as he shares leadership with Asia Chair Yash Rana — and his key role in the opening of Goodwin’s Singapore office.
In addition to this honor, The Legal 500 Asia Pacific has described Krishnan as “an outstanding attorney” who is “incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, commercial, and responsive.” He was also recently named to India Business Law Journal’s International A-List, which recognizes the top India-focused lawyers at international law firms.
