Goodwin has accelerated plans to offer a full-service contentious practice in the City, having appointed its first dedicated white-collar partner in London. Mark Beardsworth is the first non-US white-collar and investigations partner, and he will be leading the firm’s European investigations and enforcement practice. Commenting on the new arrival, Oliver Glynn-Jones, head of Goodwin’s European Litigation practice, said to The Lawyer: “His ability to operate cross-sector and his considerable multi-jurisdictional experience will help our global client base navigate the regulatory and risk environment wherever they do business.
