Goodwin today announced the relocation of its Munich office to new, significantly larger premises at Perusastraße 7, in the heart of Munich's legal and financial district.
The new 15,000-square-foot (2,304.7-square-meter), four-story office more than doubles the size of the firm's current Munich location, with capacity to accommodate up to 50 lawyers and business professionals as Goodwin continues its expansion in one of Europe's key business centers.
"Munich is one of the most dynamic markets in Germany for private equity, venture capital, and investment funds industries, across which we serve our clients globally," said Dr. Jan Schinköth, Chair of Goodwin's Munich office. "Our new state-of-the-art office provides substantial room for growth and creates an excellent environment for client collaboration. We're excited about this move and our continued expansion in Munich."
The relocation to Munich's legal and financial district demonstrates Goodwin's long-term commitment to the German market and positions the firm for continued growth in the region.
"Our move to Perusastraße represents a significant investment in our German operations," said Goodwin Chair Anthony McCusker. "The new office underscores our dedication to serving our clients' evolving needs in Germany and across Europe, particularly in the private equity, venture capital, and investment funds sectors."
Since opening in Munich in 2022, the office has grown to more than 20 lawyers and business professionals supporting European investors, lenders, and companies across the private equity, venture capital, and investment funds industries.
