David is a leading, first-chair trial lawyer with extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex antitrust litigation. He is a trusted, go-to lawyer for bet-the-company litigation. David brings a winning combination of creativity and passionate advocacy to every matter. He represents clients in all aspects of antitrust and competition-related matters and moves cases to successful conclusions. Clients frequently turn to him for counselling regarding compliance with domestic and international competition laws, including issues involving multisided markets, network effects, pricing algorithms and other AI tools, and online marketplaces. In addition to a robust defense practice, David has established a destination practice for businesses confronting anticompetitive attacks from entrenched competitors.

Chris is a partner in Goodwin’s Antitrust and Competition practice, Litigation department and is a member of the firm’s Life Sciences Disputes group. He has particular expertise in issues involving the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property. He has litigated cases in federal and state courts throughout the country and defended federal and state investigations. His practice has been deeply immersed in the competition issues at the forefront of the pharmaceutical industry. In addition, he has represented clients on competition issues in industries ranging from healthcare devices to waste disposal to financial services. Chris regularly counsels clients on competition issues relating to pricing, including resale price maintenance, minimum advertised price programs, distribution agreements, and internet pricing.

Andrew is co-chair of Goodwin’s global Antitrust and Competition practice. He advises clients on transaction-related antitrust risk, negotiating terms of agreements and determining the applicability of merger clearance filing requirements in both US and foreign jurisdictions. He represents clients before the Federal Trade Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice and state regulators in connection with informal inquiries, second requests, conduct investigations and third-party subpoenas, as well as merger challenges, class actions and other private antitrust litigation matters. He also provides guidance on antitrust issues related to diligence and pre-closing conduct procedures, among other complex issues.
