The Private Equity team advised Lead Edge Capital in connection with Pepper’s $50 million Series C financing, led by Lead Edge Capital, to build the next generation of technology for independent distributors. This funding includes continued support from existing partners—ICONIQ, Index Ventures, Greylock, Harmony Partners, and Interplay.
Lead Edge Capital is a growth equity firm with $5 billion in assets under management investing in software, internet, and tech-enabled businesses.
Pepper is the end-to-end technology platform for food distributors, powering ordering, sales and marketing, accounts receivable, and embedded payments workflows in one unified system. The company’s AI-enabled technology helps distributors increase revenue, boost productivity, and modernize operations.
