Katherine Baudistel Named Among Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2026 Leaders of Influence in M&A
The Los Angeles Business Journal has named Katherine Baudistel to its 2026 list of Leaders of Influence: M&A. This list recognizes Los Angeles-based professionals for their exceptional leadership, knowledge, skill, and achievements across the full spectrum of M&A.
Based in the firm’s Santa Monica office, Katherine is a partner in Goodwin’s Private Equity group. She represents both strategic and private equity clients in structuring, negotiating and documenting a wide array of transactions, with a primary focus on private M&A. Katherine’s clients span a range of industry sectors, including technology, consumer products, financial services and healthcare.
Los Angeles Business Journal noted that, since joining Goodwin in 2018, Katherine has been a key force behind the growth and development of the firm’s Private Equity practice on the West Coast.
Beyond her practice, Katherine is a member of Goodwin’s Pro Bono Committee, serves as the hiring partner for Goodwin’s Santa Monica office, is co-chair of the firm’s Private Equity M&A Training Committee, and serves as the Santa Monica office’s local counsel leader for Women@Goodwin. She is also a leader of Goodwin’s Women’s Health & Wellness Initiative, an integrated, cross-functional team that advises clients across industries on women’s health and wellness.
