Goodwin Advises Aampere on Its €4.2 Million Financing Round

Goodwin has advised Aampere on raising €4.2 million to expand its fully digital resale platform for used electric cars across Europe. The round is led by Estonian VC Trind Ventures. Joining the financing round are Vend Marketplaces ASA, the Nordic family of marketplaces behind FINN.no, Blocket, and Bilbasen, which joins as a minority investor. Also newly on board is G-FUND, an investor focused on major consumer trends. The existing investors around GIMIC are increasing their stakes as well; in addition, experienced business angels from the automotive industry are participating.

Aampere is a Munich-based e-mobility startup operating a fully digital, pan-European platform for selling used electric cars. Through a dealer auction, private and commercial sellers receive a binding purchase offer within 48 hours. Aampere handles the entire transaction, from valuation and payment through to logistics. This creates a sustainable circular economy for electric mobility in Europe. Founded by Florian Reister (CEO), Niko Schmidt (CGO), and Maximilian Rost (CPO), Aampere today employs more than 25 people.

The Goodwin deal team consisted of Silvio McMiken and Tobias Schulz.
