Ted Ames

Ted Ames is a counsel in Goodwin’s Strategic Technology Transactions and Licensing practice. Ted concentrates on technology, data, and intellectual property transactions, including technology and licensing; collaboration, strategic alliance and joint development agreements; data services, master services and subscription agreements; and due diligence and other intellectual property issues in mergers, acquisitions and venture capital and private equity transactions. Ted works with a broad base of start-up, venture-backed, and growth companies in a variety of sectors, including consumer and enterprise software, life sciences, fintech, and edtech. Ted joined Goodwin in 2021 after a decade as in-house counsel.
