Meg Avery is a law clerk in Goodwin’s Business Law department. She joined the firm in 2024. Meg’s application to the California bar is pending; she is working under the supervision of the partners at Goodwin.
Professional Experience
Prior to law school, Meg worked at LinkedIn as an associate in the Business Leadership Program and as a sales development consultant.
While attending law school, Meg worked at the New York Attorney General’s Bureau of Internet and Technology. In addition, Meg conducted legal research for Data2X, a civil society organization working to improve the production and use of gender data, as part of NYU’s Global Legal Practice in Digital Society clinic. She also served on the board of NYU Law’s Journal of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law, and as a research assistant for Professor Marcel Kahan, focused on state competition for incorporations.
