Zachary Bailey is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Private Equity group.
Mr. Bailey’s practice focuses on leveraged buyouts, mergers, acquisitions, private equity investments and other corporate matters in a broad range of industries. Specifically, he has experience representing corporate strategic and private equity clients in structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing private mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, including assisting private equity funds with the purchase, ongoing representation and sale of portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Bailey was a real estate associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP. While attending law school, Mr. Bailey served as a managing editor of the Indiana Law Journal.
Mr. Bailey is a member of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Corporation, Finance and Securities Law Community of the D.C. Bar Association, and the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association.
