Emma Balls is an associate in Goodwin’s Private Equity group. Her practice is principally focused on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in complex business transaction, including mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, divestitures, debt and equity restructuring and minority equity investments and related general corporate counseling. Emma has worked on transactions in a variety of industries, including renewables and clean energy, technology, health care, and retail.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Emma was a M&A/PE associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
Emma is admitted to practice in Utah only; her application to the DC bar is pending. Her practice is supervised by DC-admitted lawyers at Goodwin.
