Alida Barletta is the Managing Director of Attorney Development at Goodwin, where she leads a high-performing team of more than 20 professionals dedicated to helping attorneys thrive throughout their careers. A strategic connector and change leader, Alida drives firmwide initiatives that streamline processes, enhance systems, and strengthen collaboration across departments to better support attorney growth and organizational effectiveness.
In her role, Alida provides strategic oversight of the firm’s resource allocation process and leads key transformation efforts that advance professional development, inclusion, engagement, supervision, and retention. She also plays a pivotal role in firmwide process and technology improvements, translating vision into action and bringing a strategic, project-oriented approach to managing change and driving lasting impact.
With a focus on empowering people and optimizing performance, Alida provides coaching on leadership, performance, and long-term career development, ensuring attorneys receive the tools, feedback, and support they need to succeed.
Before joining Goodwin, Alida was the Manager of Recruiting and Professional Development at Dow Lohnes from 2010 to 2013. She began her legal career as an Associate in the Securities Enforcement and Investigations practice at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, where she practiced from 2001 to 2010.
