Sarah Barrau-Céville is a counsel in Goodwin’s Private Equity group and a member of the Private Investment Funds practice in Paris.
She advises fund sponsors on the structuring and formation of investment funds, as well as on the regulatory aspects of their activities.
She also advises on secondary transactions, especially in the context of LP-led transactions.
More generally, Sarah also has significant experience in asset management regulatory matters, particularly in the context of structuring and restructuring asset management platforms within large financial groups and GP stake transactions.
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2025, Sarah practiced at Sullivan & Cromwell, Simmons & Simmons, and King & Wood Mallesons.

- AXA, on regulatory matters relating to the sale by AXA of AXA Investment Managers to a leading international financial institution.*
