Ben Campbell is an associate in Goodwin’s Antitrust and Competition practice and a member of the firm’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. Ben advises clients on a variety of antitrust matters, including merger reviews, internal investigations, administrative proceedings, and civil litigation. Ben has advocated on behalf of clients across a broad range of industries including pharmaceuticals, software, property management, and consumer products.
Ben also maintains an active pro bono practice and has represented clients in voting rights, asylum, and environmental matters.
Prior to joining Goodwin, Ben practiced at Morrison & Foerster.
Experience
- Leading Multifamily Housing Provider. Representing a leading multifamily housing provider in nationwide class action litigation and a lawsuit brought by the District of Columbia asserting antitrust claims regarding the use of certain third-party software tools related to rental pricing.
- Teva Pharmaceuticals – In re Copaxone Antitrust Litigation (2025). Representing Teva in defending several cases pending in the Districts of New Jersey, Vermont, and Washington raising antitrust, Lanham Act, RICO, and other claims in relation to Teva’s branded multiple sclerosis product, Copaxone®.
- BNP Paribas. Representing BNP Paribas in antitrust litigations alleging that a number of banks unlawfully excluded nascent competitors in the interest rate swap and collateralized debt swap markets.
- Glenmark Pharmaceuticals. Represented Glenmark in multidistrict antitrust litigation in federal court defending against allegations of price-fixing among generic pharmaceutical manufacturers.*
- Arm Limited / Softbank. Represented SoftBank Group and Arm Limited on antitrust matters arising from NVIDIA's proposed acquisition of Arm from SoftBank.*
- Provi. Represented Provi, provider of a major B2B alcohol marketplace for commercial retailers to order alcohol products from distributors, in antitrust, unfair competition, and tort claims against two dominant alcohol distributors.*
- Confidential Arbitration (JAMS). Represented an executive and their employer in an employee mobility dispute involving unfair competition claims related to semiconductor test technology brought by the executive's former employer.*
- Clovis Oncology, Inc. Conducted investigations and helped drive favorable settlements on behalf of the unsecured creditors’ committee.*
