Professional Activities
Elizabeth was a law clerk at Goodwin with the IPTS group during the fall of 2021 and a summer associate at Goodwin in 2021. During law school, Elizabeth gained experience as a legal intern in-house at Foundation Medicine in Cambridge, MA. Elizabeth also spent her final semester of law school abroad in Dublin, Ireland interning at a global law firm in their intellectual property and privacy department and attending Trinity College Dublin. She served as an Articles Editor for Boston College Law Review and published a Comment in the journal in 2021: Hospice Care’s Adventures in Fraudland: “Battle of the Experts” and Proving Falsity Under the False Claims Act.
Prior to law school, Elizabeth worked for nearly ten years in clinical trial research and operations for several institutions and Sponsors including Novo Nordisk, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, Columbia University, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Elizabeth has research experience in therapeutic areas such as diabetes, obesity, and oncology. During graduate school, Elizabeth was a teaching assistant for graduate physiology courses and served as a lab aide for a breast cancer animal research study. She is a co-author on scientific papers published in FASEB and Surgery for Obesity and Related Diseases journals.
