Katherine Cavanaugh is Director, Client Development for the Technology Industry group at Goodwin. She acts as a strategic advisor to attorneys in their business plans, including proposals, thought leadership, events, attorney and practice group ranking submissions, and other marketing materials.
With more than 15 years of business development experience in a law firm setting, Katherine has supported attorneys in a number of industries, including energy, financial services, investment management, life sciences, and technology, as well as specific legal areas such as corporate transactions, M&A and licensing, data privacy, litigation, lobbying, and regulatory practices.
Prior to her time in the legal industry, Katherine worked in the event marketing industry for seven years.
Professional Activities
Roles within Goodwin have included collaborating with attorneys in practices like Global M&A, Public Company Advisory, Data, Privacy & Cybersecurity, Financial Services Litigation, and others.
She has volunteered for a variety of roles within the Legal Marketing Association, including serving as Secretary, Educational Programming Chair and Future Leaders Bootcamp Co-Chair for the Boston Local Steering Committee.
She has previously served as a member of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Engagement Council, responsible for membership engagement.
