Laura Chanaz

Laura Chanaz is an associate in the Goodwin’s Business Law Department, and a member of its Private Equity group and Private Investment Funds practice.

Ms. Chanaz has specialized experience in the structuring, formation and fundraising of regulated and unregulated Luxembourg investment alternative investment funds across a variety of asset classes, with a particular focus on private equity funds. In addition to structuring and establishing alternative investment funds, Ms. Chanaz advises asset managers on regulatory matters such as licensing requirements for non-EU managers and the structuring of carried interest and co-investment schemes.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Chanaz was an associate in the investment funds department of a magic circle firm in Luxembourg. She also gained experience in tax while working as a tax senior consultant with a Big 4 accounting firm in Luxembourg and formerly as a tax advisor for a consulting firm in Hong Kong.
