Franck Chintoya is a counsel in the Private Equity group at Goodwin and a member of its Debt Finance practice. He represents sponsors and borrowers in connection with acquisition and other debt financing transactions. Franck joined the firm in 2022.

Experience

Franck has experience representing private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and other public and private companies in connection with the structuring and documentation of a wide range of domestic and international debt financing matters, including leveraged buyouts, debt commitments, unitranche, first-lien and second-lien term loans and revolving credit facilities, asset-backed loans, recapitalizations, and general corporate finance matters. He has represented clients in transactions ranging in size from several millions of several hundreds of millions of dollars.

Professional Activities

Franck is a member of the New York City Bar Association and the Metropolitan Black Bar Association. He has provided pro bono counsel to Project Citizenship, a nonprofit agency that provides free, high-quality legal services to immigrants all over Massachusetts and New England States. 

While in law school, Franck served as Financial Editor for the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law and as Executive Editor for the Columbia Journal of European Law.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Before joining Goodwin, Franck was most recently an associate in the Finance group at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Prior to his tenure at Paul Weiss, he was corporate counsel at B/E Aerospace, Inc., where he advised on mergers and acquisitions, securities filings and finance matters. He began his legal career as an associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
