Andrew Contreras

Andrew Contreras joined Goodwin in 2021. He is the firm’s Attorney Development Manager for junior associates located in the New York Office. In this role he is responsible for managing staffing and individualized professional development. He also collaborates with the Professional Development and Training Team on executive skill and substantive legal training for junior associates, helps onboard and integrate new junior attorney hires, and assists with administering the performance evaluation process.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Contreras had his own coaching and consulting business specializing in guiding lawyers and other leaders on organizational management, talent management, and career development concerns. Before holding that role, he served for several years as the Chief Deputy Clerk of Court for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and previous to that position, he practiced for several years in the Governmental Affairs Department of a large New Jersey law firm.
