Christophe Digoy, a Senior Counsel in Goodwin’s Private Equity group, focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, with a concentration on private equity transactions, including leveraged buyouts, Tech and Life Sciences transactions for French and foreign investors. His experience includes leading numerous LBOs and M&A transactions, and he is one of the few lawyers in Paris to have acted for private equity funds both in-house and as an external adviser.
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2016, Christophe was a partner at King & Wood Mallesons (formerly SJ Berwin) in Paris, where he served as the office’s Managing Partner and co-head of its Corporate Department. Previously, he practiced at Clifford Chance, where he helped establish its private equity team. Before that, he served as General Counsel of Suez Industrie, where he also helped develop the private equity practice, and as in-house counsel at venture capital firm Sopromec-Idi.

Christophe’s recent transactions include advising:
- A pool of French banks in the financial restructuring of the FIGEAC AÉRO Group, a leading partner for the major aerospace manufacturers
- A pool of French banks on the granting, with certain bondholders, of a new financing of a total maximum amount of 300 million euros to the listed group Pierre & Vacances, a European resort group that develops and manages tourist residences
- Biologique Recherche, a leading luxury professional skincare brand, on its fundraising with several high profile family offices
- BIP Capital Partners on the acquisition of the group La Romainville, the France-based company of birthday and wedding cakes
- Naxicap Partners (formerly Bee Up Capital), the founders and the management of Cyllene in the sale of the Cyllene Group, one of the French leaders in independent IT infrastructure services
- The shareholders of Orthotaxy, a privately-held medtech company developing software-enabled surgery technologies, on the sale of the company to a leading pharmaceutical company
- Tokheim Services Group, the European leader of solutions and services to public and private energy distribution infrastructures for mobility, and its shareholders on the acquisition of the group by HLD Group
