Khalid Elwanni

Khalid Elwanni is an associate in Goodwin’s Business Law department and Technology and Life Sciences groups. Khalid works with emerging growth companies and later-stage companies in the software, technology and life sciences industries throughout their corporate life cycle, including seed, venture and growth equity financings, public securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. He joined Goodwin in 2021.

Khalid is admitted in Illinois and Massachusetts only; his practice is supervised by DC-admitted partners at Goodwin. 

While in law school, Khalid served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Susan E. Cox in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He also served as Managing Editor of the Northwestern Journal of Law and Social Policy. Khalid was also involved in Northwestern’s Bluhm Legal Clinic, where he worked on death penalty defense cases.

Prior to law school, Khalid was a 2012 Teach for America Corps Member in Washington, DC, where he taught high school mathematics and computer science.
