Previous Professional Experience
Before joining Goodwin, Vernon Espinoza was a member of the 2019 Los Angeles Teach for America cohort. Following this, he worked as a high school Spanish teacher at Ednovate, Esperanza College Prep. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Vernon also served as a Content Steward for Teach for America in Los Angeles, contributing to the development and organization of educational materials.
Vernon's initial experience with Goodwin began in 2022, when he participated in the firm's summer program as an SEO Fellow. Building on this foundation, he returned to Goodwin as a summer associate in both 2023 and 2024. During the summer of 2023, Vernon divided his time between Goodwin and Zapier, Inc., a company specializing in software automation. This opportunity allowed him to gain valuable experience in both legal practice and the technology sector.
