Matthew Fitzgerald is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department. He joined Goodwin in 2022.
Professional Activities
Matt contributes to the working group of the American Bar Association Committee on M&A Market Trends that produces the Private Target Mergers & Acquisitions Deal Points Study, a widely-cited resource on current M&A deal terms.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin, Matt served as an infantry officer and judge advocate in the United States Army. As a judge advocate, Matt helped the Department of Defense modernize its digital social media policy governing over 2,800,000 servicemembers and civilian employees.
