Zachary Flashman

Zachary is an associate in Goodwin’s Litigation department. He joined the firm in 2024. Zachary’s practice focuses on a variety of complex litigation and dispute resolution matters. He has served clients in the technology, life sciences, financial services, and private equity industries.

Zachary’s recent matters include:

• Post-closing litigation for a life sciences client
• Securities class action for a biotechnology client
• Consumer financial services litigation for a technology client
• Internal investigation for a life sciences client
• Commercial contract litigation for a private equity client
• M&A class action for a financial services client 

In 2025, Zachary worked with the in-house legal team at Toast, Inc. as part of Goodwin’s Client Immersion Program. While at Toast, he was responsible for over 250 non-party discovery matters. Zachary led internal investigations; negotiated with law enforcement and regulators; and responded to demand letters or other disputes, diffusing them before they could rise to litigation.

Zachary was a summer associate at Goodwin in 2023 and a legal intern for the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps in 2020.

During law school, Zachary was a member of the Veterans Benefits Advocacy Clinic.

Zachary served for over 12 years in the United States Army Infantry prior to joining Goodwin.

Zachary is a member of the Boston Bar Association.
