Peter Fusco is a partner in Goodwin’s Technology group. He represents venture funds and tech companies throughout all stages of their life cycle, from pre-incorporation planning to angel, seed and growth rounds to exit in M&A. Mr. Fusco serves as senior outside legal advisor to many startups, growth stage companies and venture funds. He also works closely with the NYU Tandon Future Labs startup incubator ecosystem (the Data, Digital, Urban and Veterans Future Labs) and its related programs.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Fusco was most recently a partner in Orrick’s Technology Companies Group where he led the firm’s New York Technology Companies practice. He was previously a partner at Lowenstein Sandler LLP after joining as an associate. He began his career at Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP.

While in law school, Mr. Fusco served as Student Director for the Legislative Journal.

Prior to practicing law, Mr. Fusco was a rifleman and crew-served weapons instructor in an Infantry unit in the Army Reserve and graduated as the Distinguished Honor Graduate for his class from the United States Army Infantry School at Fort Benning, Georgia.

Professional Activities

Mr. Fusco is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of The Montclair Kimberley Academy.
