Chris Garcia

Chris Garcia is counsel in Goodwin's Technology group, focusing on emerging technology companies, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Chris advises domestic and international emerging growth technology companies, venture capital firms, and strategic investors in cross-border venture financings, including China and Latin America.

Chris’ representative experience includes advising:

• TensorMesh, Inc. in $4.5 million in seed funding led by Laude Ventures
• Summation on the raising of $35 million from Benchmark and Kleiner Perkins
• Supio on its $60 million Series B funding
• Specifx on the acquisition by XOi
• T-Robotics FPC, Inc. (“T-Robotics”) in its $5.4 million Seed funding round, co-led by The Engine Fund III, L.P. and Emergent Ventures III, LP with BSF II, LP (Berkeley Skydeck) and Raisewell Ventures Fund, I L.P. participating
• Supio on its oversubscribed $25M in Series A funding led by Sapphire Ventures and joined by Bonfire Ventures and Foothill Ventures
• Jacobi Robotics in a $5 million seed round and the launch of its groundbreaking technology and robotics AI software platform
• Range Energy in its $23.5 million funding round led by Trousdale Ventures, with participation from UP.Partners, R7, and Yamaha Motor Ventures
• Dimensional Energy on the closing of its $20 million Series A funding round
• WIND on their investment in Chilean fintech company, Galgo
• Project Frog on the acquisition of its Building Solutions Division by Industrialized Construction Solutions
• Specifx Data on its $3.5 million seed funding round to launch its first HVAC data collection app
• WIND Ventures in its investment in ClearFlame Engine Technologies $30 million Series B
• Razorpay in its $375 Million Series F led by Lone Pine Capital, Alkeon Capital and TCV
• Resolve in its $25 Million Series A led by Insight Partners

Prior to joining Goodwin in 2021, Chris was an associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.

Chris has been recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2022–2026.

Chris received the 2024 Fraser Award from Goodwin. He was also selected as a 2024 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Pathfinder and received the 2024 LCLD Atlas Award.
