Kathryn Garza serves as Assistant General Counsel. Prior to joining Goodwin, Kathryn practiced for several years as a litigation associate at Williams & Connolly in Washington, D.C. In that role, Kathryn represented clients across an array of practice areas, including media law, state attorney general investigations, legal malpractice litigation, and breach of contract matters.
At the University of Texas School of Law, Kathryn was a member of the Texas Law Review. Prior to law school, Kathryn worked at the Texas House of Representatives, serving in numerous roles for elected officials including as a legislative aide, committee clerk, and district director.
