Dorothy Hazan is a junior associate in Goodwin’s Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. She joined the firm in 2019.

Experience
Ms. Hazan works on privacy and cybersecurity matters across a variety of industries, including technology, commercial, and financial services. She has worked with clients, forensic firms, and public relations firms on incident response strategy and frequently analyzes privacy laws in order to help clients identify and meet their legal and regulatory obligations following a data security incident.
Ms. Hazan also has experience in a variety of business litigation matters, including derivative and direct lawsuits by shareholders and contractual disputes. She also works on pro bono matters, and recently secured legal permanent residency for a client with Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.
Prior to working at Goodwin, Ms. Hazan was a legal intern at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, Family Violence and Sexual Assault Unit during the summer of 2017. While at Penn Law, Ms. Hazan also served as a student advocate at the Custody and Support Assistance Clinic from 2016 to 2019, as well as the Interdisciplinary Child Advocacy Clinic in 2019.
