Spencer Kahn is an associate in Goodwin’s Business Law department. His practice focuses on representing private equity sponsors, growth equity investors, and strategic companies in a broad range of transactions, including tender offers, mergers and acquisitions, growth equity investments, and general corporate matters. In addition, Spencer represents investment firms and their portfolio companies in platform and add-on acquisitions and regularly advises investors in connection with investments in high-growth private companies.
He has experience advising clients across a variety of industries, including technology, life sciences, financial services, and asset management, in both domestic and cross-border transactions.

- Kelonia Therapeutics in its $7 billion sale to Eli Lilly (NYSE: LLY).
- WisdomTree (NYSE: WT) in its $500 million acquisition of Ceres Partners.
- Tomorrow.io in its $175 million equity financing led by Stonecourt Capital and HarbourVest Partners.
- Austin Private Wealth, an independent wealth manager with approximately $1.4 billion in assets under management, in its sale to Cerity Partners.
- Arlington Capital Partners and its affiliated investment funds and portfolio companies in connection with various platform and add-on acquisitions.
- Nonantum Capital Partners and its affiliated investment funds and portfolio companies in connection with add-on acquisitions.
- The Brydon Group and its affiliated investment funds and portfolio companies in connection with add-on acquisitions and the sale of portfolio companies.
