Genevieve Kelly is general counsel in residence at Goodwin and is a resource for emerging companies and start-ups. She advises clients on IPOs and public company governance, litigation management, mergers and acquisitions, labor and employment, regulatory compliance, and budget and cost control. Genevieve has extensive experience building and leading legal functions and managing cross-functional teams across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia in both public and private company environments.
Genevieve’s legal background consists of over 25 years of experience serving on leadership teams of mission-driven companies focused on consumer products and services, pets, hospitality, restaurants, hotels, agriculture, food and beverage, entertainment, health and wellness, e-commerce, and retail.
Professional Activities
Genevieve is a board leadership fellow for the National Association of Corporate Directors. She is also a board advisor on the Los Angeles Regional Board of Read to a Child, a national nonprofit organization devoted to children’s literacy.
