Adam Knapp serves as Goodwin’s Head of Financial Planning & Analysis where he leads an analytical and technical minded team that works in partnership with the firm’s attorneys and global operations teams to advance data-driven decision support, advocate for innovation in finance strategy, and steer improvements and enhancements in the firm’s business intelligence platform. He is passionate about leveraging data, analytics, and technology solutions to develop actionable strategy roadmaps to achieve operational and financial gains.
professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin, Adam served as a Director and Head of Strategic Finance at Citadel, with a focus across traditional and alternative asset classes and strategies in the asset management business. He led efforts to develop a robust business intelligence platform, including the build and implementation of an enterprise data warehouse for streamlined access to operational and financial data with rigorous quality control standards. Previously, Adam was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, where he served as the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and prior to that as the Equities Controller and a member of the Equities Management Committee within Guggenheim Securities. Past companies have also included Citigroup and Lehman Brothers.
Professional Activities
Most recently in 2021, Adam completed a 3-year tenure on the Board of Directors for Sanergy, Inc., a non-profit responsible for building healthy, prosperous communities by making hygienic sanitation affordable and accessible throughout Africa’s informal settlements.
