William P. Lane is an associate in the firm’s Financial Industry group and a member of its Investment Management practice. He originally joined the firm in 2017. Following a clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Mr. Lane rejoined the firm in 2019.

While attending law school, Mr. Lane interned for the Honorable David D. Noce, Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, the Honorable Barbara J. Rothstein of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the Division of Enforcement at the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Office of the General Counsel at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA), and the Criminal Prosecution Assistance Group at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Mr. Lane contributes articles to the firm’s Financial Services Weekly News Roundup. While attending law school, Mr. Lane was an associate editor for the Catholic University Law Review and was a research assistant to the Columbus School of Law’s Securities Law Chairperson, Professor David Lipton.
