Summer Brook Lawson is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department, and a member of its Technology & Life Sciences group. Summer Brook advises emerging companies, venture capital firms, and strategic investors in complex US and cross-border transactions.
Summer Brook’s representation of companies spans the entire corporate lifecycle, including pre-incorporation planning, entity formation, general corporate representation and counseling, corporate governance, venture capital financings, secondary transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Her representation of investors includes seed through growth stage financings, including secondary transactions, follow-on investments and exit opportunities.
She is a contributor of Big Molecule Watch China, Goodwin’s award-winning blog that is dedicated to delivering updates and in-depth analyses on regulatory matters, litigation, legislation and other significant developments in biologics and biosimilars in China and the broader Asian region.
Experience
While attending law school, Summer Brook served as Chief Articles Editor and Executive Symposium Editor for Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. Additionally, she was a member of the Transactional Negotiations Team.
