Matthew Leake

Matthew is an associate in the Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution team at Goodwin’s London office. Matthew has experience advising clients on a broad range of disputes, including complex commercial litigation and arbitration, often with an international element. Matthew also has experience advising on investigations and regulatory issues, and spent time on secondment in the regulatory team of a FTSE 100 company.

Matthew’s relevant experience includes advising:

• A major automobile company in its defence of a high profile class action*
• Advising a fund management business and connected entities in relation to various complex interconnected claims in England, the BVI and the Cayman Islands*
• A listed law firm in its defence of employment and contractual claims brought by a former CEO*
• A multinational ride-hailing business in its defence of a high profile class action*
• The founding partner of a business to business investment partnership in relation to a complex partnership dispute*
• A business telecoms provider in parallel warranty and conspiracy claims against a supplier of telephony and internet services
