Isabel Marin is an associate in the firm’s Complex Litigation and Dispute Resolution group and a member of its Appellate Litigation practice. Isabel’s work focuses on appellate matters and complex civil litigation, particularly within the areas of administrative law. In addition, her pro bono practice focuses on immigration appeals. While at Goodwin, Isabel has authored and contributed to briefs and dispositive motions in federal court.  Isabel is admitted to practice in California and before multiple federal courts. While her application to the D.C. Bar is pending, her practice is supervised by D.C. admitted lawyers at Goodwin.

Before joining Goodwin in 2023, Isabel served as a law clerk for Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh of the U.S. Supreme Court, Judge Patricia A. Millett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, and Judge Daniel P. Collins of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Isabel graduated from Harvard Law School, where she was Articles Co-Chair for the Harvard Law Review and argued before the Massachusetts Appeals Court. Prior to law school, Isabel served as a logistics officer in the U.S. Marine Corps.
