Devin McGahey is an associate in Goodwin’s Business Law Department where his practice focuses on advising companies at every stage of their corporate lifecycle, including pre-incorporation planning, formations, general corporate representation and counseling, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions. Devin joined the firm in 2021.
In addition to his billable work, Devin is active in Goodwin’s pro bono efforts with the Last Prisoner Project, helping to secure the release of nonviolent cannabis-related offenders and advocate for broader prison reform.
Experience
While attending law school, Devin served as an Articles Editor on the Berkeley Business Law Journal and a legal extern at the San Francisco Superior Court. In addition, Devin worked as a volunteer for the Reentry Advocacy Project and Root & Rebound, supporting incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals.
