Wayne Medina joined Goodwin in 2018 as a Paralegal Specialist in the firm’s Private Investment Funds group. In this role, he is responsible for assisting lawyers with all aspects of private fund formations and closings. Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Medina served as the Compliance & Legal Manager for Makena Capital Management, a registered investment adviser based in Menlo Park, CA, where he worked with that firm’s general counsel and chief compliance officer to administer its compliance program and to provide legal services with respect to a variety of business matters. Mr. Medina is also an experienced paralegal, having worked in the private funds groups of Ropes & Gray from 2006-2011 and Wilson Sonsini from 2000-2006.
