Professional Activities
While in law school, Mr. Meier served as a judicial intern for the Honorable John R. Tunheim, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, and as a senior submissions editor for the Southern California Law Review. As president of his law school’s Outlaw association, he also worked to improve LGBT representation in the legal industry and provide mentorship and act as a voice for LGBT law students with the administration.
Prior to law school, Mr. Meier worked as a legislative assistant for a Minnesota Senate caucus research department. In that role, he researched policy memos on a variety of topics, including agriculture and judiciary issues, and monitored floor sessions of the Minnesota House of Representatives and Senate committee meetings. He has also worked as a political organizer, managing volunteer recruitment and voter registration campaigns in multiple legislative districts.
