CJ Morrison

CJ’s application to the California bar is pending; CJ is working under the supervision of the partners at Goodwin. CJ joined Goodwin in 2022.

CJ’s practice consists of advising emerging growth companies throughout their corporate lifecycle, including general corporate representation and venture capital financings, with a focus on climate technology. She also maintains an active pro bono practice.

CJ worked on several venture capital financings as a summer associate at Goodwin. CJ also assisted in the filing of an S-1 for Real Good Foods’ IPO.

Before joining Goodwin, CJ worked as a paralegal at the national ACLU Disability Rights Program in San Francisco. At the ACLU, she supported attorneys in a portfolio of appellate and class action intersectional civil rights litigation as well as national and state lobbying.

During law school, CJ worked as an intern litigating on behalf of environmental justice organizations and tribes at the Department of the Interior and the Institute for Public Representation. She also served as a consultant to Georgetown Law’s admissions department, organizing outreach to groups historically excluded from legal education.
