Mandy Murphy serves as the Senior Manager of Client Development for Goodwin’s Private Investment Funds practice and Specialty practices. The latter includes Financial Restructuring, ERISA + Executive Compensation, Tax, Global Trade, Trust + Estate Planning, and Tax-Exempt Organizations. She led in the creation of the firm’s Secondaries practice, and supports the Impact + Responsible Investing practice. She works closely with each group’s respective leaders on a variety of global initiatives, like strategic planning and thought leadership around growing and developing each group.
For over 10 years, Ms. Murphy has worked with lawyers across the country and around the world to identify, develop and implement targeted business development and marketing plans for increasing external visibility and strengthening client and prospective relationships. She brings this experience to her role at Goodwin, joining the firm in 2019.
Outside of work, Ms. Murphy has served as a volunteer for the Legal Marketing Association’s New England and Pacific Northwest chapters, as well as a coach for the Special Olympics. She also volunteers for the Salem Jazz and Soul Festival. Ms. Murphy was a Barbara Lee Family Fellowship recipient, and interned at the Massachusetts State House, the Connecticut State House Democrats’ Press Office, and the Dáil Éirann (Irish Parliament).
