Dan Murray is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Private Equity group. He joined Goodwin in 2020.
Mr. Murray’s practice focuses primarily on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, and other general corporate matters in a broad range of industries. Specifically, he has experience representing corporate strategic, search fund and private equity clients in structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing private mergers, acquisitions, and dispositions, including assisting private equity funds with the purchase, ongoing representation and sale of portfolio companies.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Murray worked as a special assistant and legal counsel to the General Treasurer and Governor of the State of Rhode Island.
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2020, Mr. Murray was an associate at Morrison and Foerster LLP.
