Nathan Nelson is an associate in Goodwin Procter LLP’s Technology and Life Sciences group and a member of its Climate Technology practice. His practice consists of representing investors, startups, and emerging growth companies across a broad spectrum of industries, including climate technology, environmental services, artificial intelligence, fintech, robotics, digital healthcare, online commerce and retail, sustainable trucking, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.
Nathan has experience in venture capital financings, entity formations, corporate governance matters, equity issuances, pre-investment due diligence and corporate cleanup, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and refinancing, and other strategic transactions involving domestic and international companies.
Professional Activities
While attending the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, Nathan participated in the Hastings Corporate Counsel Externship Program. He also served on the editorial board of the Hastings Business Law Journal and as a teaching assistant for Legal Research and Writing. Nathan also competed on the moot court team and placed as a national semi-finalist in The Herbert Wechsler Criminal Moot Court Competition.
