William Newman

William Newman is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Life Sciences group. His representation of start-up and later stage companies spans the entire corporate life cycle. His clients are in the life sciences, biotechnology, medical device, and pharmaceutical industries.

While attending law school, William served as a research fellow for the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law’s California Constitution Center.

Prior to joining Goodwin, William was an associate in Fenwick & West LLP’s Silicon Valley office. William also served as in-house counsel for StartEngine Crowdfunding, Inc.
