Nicole Peterson

Nicole Peterson is Goodwin’s Manager of Learning + Professional Development, where she leads the design and delivery of programs that support attorney growth, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. She partners with leaders across the firm to build scalable learning strategies, strengthen talent development, and enhance the overall attorney experience.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Nicole served as Director of Sustainability & Legal Operations at Welch’s, where she built and led the company’s enterprise sustainability program, Growing Tomorrow Together. In this role, she designed cross-functional training and engagement initiatives, led annual sustainability summits, and developed governance, risk, and compliance frameworks that supported enterprise strategy.

Earlier in her career, Nicole was a Litigation Associate at Holland & Knight LLP, where she spent nearly seven years representing clients in complex commercial litigation and developing deep experience in the legal industry, professional skills development, and attorney training. She brings a unique blend of law firm, corporate, and program leadership experience to her work in learning and development.
