Jonathan Price is Of Counsel in Goodwin’s Products Litigation and Counseling practice, and a former member of the firm’s Life Sciences Disputes group. He has extensive experience in products liability law, environmental law, toxic tort and hazardous waste cases, commercial and securities litigation, insurance coverage litigation, insurance premium financing law and malpractice defense.

In the course of more than 40 years of practice, Jonathan has been involved directly in many of the significant developments in pharmaceutical products liability law during this period, including the establishment of the federal preemption defense for generic drug manufacturers, development and contesting of theories of alternative liability, including associated market share litigation, and the expanded role of federal multidistrict litigation and statewide coordinated proceedings in the litigation of pharmaceutical mass torts.

Jonathan’s practice focuses on products liability, toxic torts and environmental law, with a particular emphasis on pharmaceutical products and medical devices. He has been involved, both as company counsel and as insurer-appointed counsel, in many large, hotly litigated mass tort controversies.
