Arsh Raince

Arsh Raince is an associate in Goodwin’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice. Arsh’s areas of focus include patent and trade secret litigation. He has represented clients, both plaintiffs and defendants, in a wide variety of industries, including, software, dredging, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices.  

Arsh has experience in all phases of patent and trade secret litigation, including discovery, motion practice, pretrial proceedings, and trial. He has experience on teams that have obtained favorable outcomes through summary judgment and at trials, including both bench and jury trials. Arsh has also advocated in court and traveled abroad to secure client interests. As part of his experience, Arsh has:

• Represented a leading medical device company in trade secret litigation
• Represented a dredging company in trade secret litigation resulting in favorable summary judgment decision
• Represented generic pharmaceutical companies in Hatch-Waxman litigation
• Represented a data security and cybersecurity firm in patent litigation concerning multi-factor authentication
• Represented a startup building artificial intelligence models for the healthcare industry in trademark infringement lawsuit
• Represented software companies in multiple districts against patent infringement cases brought by a non-practicing entity resulting in favorable settlements
• Represented petitioner in IPR related to Actinium-225 radiopharmaceuticals

Prior to joining Goodwin, Arsh interned with the honorable Magistrate Judge Robin M. Meriweather at the District Court for the District of Columbia and with the honorable Chief Judge Beryl A. Howell at the District Court for the District of Columbia.

During law school, Arsh was a member and an associate of The George Washington Law Review.
