Anoma is an associate in the Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution team in Goodwin’s London office. She has a broad practice in complex cross-border commercial and financial services litigation, investigations and international arbitration. She has acted in high-value cases before the English High Court and Court of Appeal, and has experience working on arbitrations under institutions including ICC and LCIA (commercial) and ICSID (investment treaty).
Experience
Anoma’s representative disputes and investigations experience includes advising:
- A business telecoms provider in parallel warranty and conspiracy claims against a supplier of telephony and internet services
- One of the UK’s largest asset managers in group litigation brought under sections 90 and 90A of FSMA 2000 against a public listed company for failures to disclose information to the market*
- A significant technology consultancy in a dispute with a branch of the UK government in respect of modernisation services*
- A Mobile Network Operator (MNO) in a dispute concerning the provision of 5G services via a Telecommunications Supply Agreement with a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) (including in appellate proceedings)*
- A major investment bank in an internal investigation prompted by a UK regulatory body into potential collusive trading*
- A chemical manufacturer in an ICC arbitration against a multinational pharmaceutical company related to an agreement for extraction services*
- An investor in the construction industry in an ICSID arbitration against a country in respect of a failed public-private partnership agreement*
- A multinational data management company in an LCIA arbitration against claims brought by its former CEO in respect of remuneration and bonuses*
