Anjlee Sakaria is an associate in the firm’s Technology and Life Sciences groups. Ms. Sakaria’s practice covers a range of transactional, advisory and regulatory matters, often advising on intellectual property rights including patents, trademarks, copyright, design rights, trade secrets, domain names and confidential information.
Ms. Sakaria’s technology transactions practice includes advising on commercial contracts, IT services agreements, software licences, SaaS and e-commerce. Ms. Sakaria advises on the commercialization and evaluation of IP, technology and data in IP-rich transactions and transitional arrangements across various sectors including tech, energy and life sciences. Ms. Sakaria also advises on regulatory areas that impact commercial law and technology, including data and protection and privacy.
Ms. Sakaria’s practice is informed by her previous contentious experience, which includes high-value, multi-jurisdictional patent disputes in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries and also trade mark disputes, including enforcement actions against third parties across numerous sectors.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Ms. Sakaria trained and qualified at an international law firm and specialised in contentious, non-contentious and advisory intellectual property matters.
