Daniel Santiago joined Goodwin in 2025 as Managing Director of Client Development for Goodwin’s Litigation practices, where he leads strategic growth initiatives across the firm’s Litigation Department, including the Complex Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property Litigation practice areas. In close collaboration with partners, practice leaders, and global business teams, Daniel is responsible for strengthening client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and strategic execution. 

Daniel brings over a decade of experience at the intersection of litigation and business development. He began his legal career as a litigation associate before transitioning to roles focused on competitive intelligence and strategic growth at leading AmLaw 25 firms. He has since held senior leadership positions, including firmwide Director of Business Development and Litigation Counsel, and most recently served as Head of Practice Management at Clifford Chance in both London and New York.

In his current role, Daniel leads a high-performing team that develops and implements client development strategies, supports high-stakes pitches and proposals, integrates lateral partners, and drives cross-practice collaboration. Known for his strategic insight and client-first approach, he works closely with firm leadership to align litigation growth efforts with broader business objectives.

Daniel also maintains a long-standing commitment to pro bono litigation, reflecting his dedication to using his legal expertise in service of the broader community.
